Work at Rust Belt Riders

Rust Belt Riders is a worker-owned cooperative dedicated to the health of the environment and of its workers. Our mission is to “Feed People, Not Landfills”. We do this by providing businesses, organizations, and individuals an alternative to the landfill for their food scraps. We then use that compost to create healthy, fertile soil and we encourage ecological gardening initiatives throughout our area. We believe in creating and operating within a circular economy and actively practice workplace democracy.  We believe how we work is equally as important as the work we do.
