What are we doing?

Upgrading our member account management software!

Why are we doing it?

Our old account management software was bulky and hard to use. Even for us sometimes! The new software will allow you to access the bin code whenever you need it, streamline communications from and to us, and will make updating your account information as easy as possible.

What you can expect from us

We will be calling everyone over the next 6 months to help get you switched over to our new software. After completing the switch, we will cancel your old account and apply any remaining credits to your new account.

How can you help us?

If you would like, you are invited to fill out the NEW FORM and we will cancel your old account within 24 business hours of you upgrading.

I signed up with the new form but still got an account canceled email. What’s going on?

Whoops! It looks like we didn’t quite get to your old account in time to cancel it. We are working on this and will follow up with an email when we complete the process. As long as you signed up with the new form, and received our welcome email, you are an active member!

Why do you need my billing information again?

For your security, we are not able to see your credit card billing information.

Why do you need my address?

We collect addresses to report to our municipal contacts the impact our services are having on their residents and municipal waste collection.

I am being billed two times. How can I get that changed?

Wowzers! There are a few reasons this could be happening.

Please email support@rustbeltriders.com and forward them the receipt you got. We will immediately cancel the old account and confirm your enrollment.

Why can’t I access my old account?

Our hand was forced by our old account management software to close account access. It was overly cumbersome to host three account access sites at the same time, and we decided that the juice was not worth the squeeze to keep it open. Especially since we need to get everyone transferred the the new system.

My coupon code is not working on your new form. Help!

Please email support@rustbeltriders.com and we will confirm which coupon code you need to use.

I am a Shaker Nature Center member, does my discount still apply.

Yes, we are able to keep your discount however we will not be able to discount any $5 per month Shaker Nature Members as the cost of business has increased since our inception of this program in 2017. We will be discounting all Nature Center members at the current rate of $10 per month.

Hi there!

There is a change to our program we need you to know about.

And that is…We are upgrading our account management software!

This change means that we will need to get you signed up in our new system, including re-submitting your billing information, and then get your old account canceled. You are invited to fill out the NEW FORM if you would like to fast track your upgrade. If you do we will cancel your old account within 24 business hours of your switching. If you do not, we will be calling to help get you upgraded.

Please note:
Our transfer process includes making phone calls to you and all other composters over the next 6 months to help get you switched over to our new system. We are asking for your patience with us as we make this change. There are 2000+ individuals to switch over and we are a small but strong team.
